Students from all over Bucks County join together to perform in the Bucks County Music Educators Association Music Festival

On March 13th and 14th, William Tennent High School hosted the Bucks County Music Educators Association festival! celebrating its 75th Anniversary! Approximately 600 talented student musicians from across Bucks County came together for a weekend of incredible performances.

We cheered on 60 Centennial students from William Tennent High School, Log College Middle School, and Klinger Middle School who earned their spot in this prestigious, auditioned festival!

Audiences were treated to a spectacular global musical journey featuring incredible performances by the selected choir, orchestra, and band. The weekend showcased a diverse repertoire, ranging from the beautiful, serene notes of Water Reflections to the uplifting energy of On Top of the World.

As our by-laws state, BCMEA is “for the betterment of school music.” All schools and music students in Bucks County are invited to be involved our yearly auditioned festival. Originally, only students in grades 9-12 participated in the Band, Orchestra, or Choir. Over the years, the festival has expanded from three to six ensembles. Now we also have Middle School Band, Middle School Choir and Middle School Orchestra.
